Important News From The Revenue Department

We are preparing for our license renewal period to notify citizens and business owners about our up-and-coming business license renewal period:

• City of Decatur business license renewal notices will be mailed out on December 29th, 2017
• The City of Decatur’s annual license renewal period will begin on January 2nd, 2018
• License renewals are due by January 31st, 2018
• If not renewed by January 31st, licenses become delinquent on February 1st, 2018 therefore accruing penalties and interest
• If a business has not received their license renewal notice by January 12th, 2018, please contact the Revenue Dept. at (256) 341-4546
